About AudioRite

Audio-Rite Corporation was organized by the principals of Lex Reporting Service, Inc., a court reporting agency established in 1980. With corporate headquarters situated in the financial center of New York City and additional offices located throughout the five boroughs and Long Island, Lex has enjoyed a reputation for excellence in the profession for twenty-five years.

The owners and their diversely talented staff have long been involved in the development of new technologies for implementation in the industry. Throughout the years, the need for reporters steadily increased. With the advancement into realtime, closed captioning and CART, the shortage of reporters grew to the national level. Existing methods could not accommodate this growth. The time had come for the profession to enter the 21st century.

And It Has! The Audio-Rite Voice Writing programs are a heralded success story. Voice writing has become the method of choice. The military forces now rely primarily on voice writers. It has become the most widely used method in many states, even in Canada. It was AudioRite that provided Court TV with the realtime transcript of the O.J. Simpson interview through voice writing.
